Haught, Van Assche Pick up Top Honors as VaSID All-State College Division Baseball Team AnnouncedJune 19, 2015Despite 13 different schools represented on the 2015 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) College Division All-State Baseball Team, it was a pair of programs that separated from the rest this season. Led by VaSID Player of the Year Jono Haught, and Pitcher of the Year Ryan Van Assche, the University of Mary Washington featured five first team All-State picks; and after leading the The Apprentice School to a national championship, Coach of the Year Bryan Cave headlined a strong group of five honors for the Builders.

UMW's Haught, Van Assche Named CAC Baseball Players of the WeekMarch 23, 2015Mary Washington swept this week's conference honors as senior Jono Haught and junior Ryan Van Assche were named the CAC Baseball Players of the Week for March 23, 2015. Haught was named the CAC Player of the Week for the third time this year after continuing his stellar start to the season, hitting 15-for-26 (.577) with eight RBIs and eight runs scored, including a .682 average in five CAC contests, as the Eagles went 4-2 last week. Van Assche was selected as the CAC Pitcher of the Week after posting a pair of wins in CAC action last week.
