The University of Mary Washington baseball team has joined the national rankings this week by the ABCA and Collegiate Baseball magazine.
The Eagles jumped into the poll after receiving votes last week. CAC foes Frostburg (3rd) and Salisbury (4th) are in the top four nationally.
The Eagles open play in the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament on Wednesday at 2:30 pm at home against Marymount University.
