    Mary Washington, which finished second in the CAC regular-season chase, picked up five all-conference awards, including the second-straight first-team honors for senior pitcher Torey Mancari (Warrenton, Va./Paul VI). Joining Mancari on the All-CAC first team are senior infielder Seth Jordan (Springfield, Va./South County) and junior reliever Jake Black (Fredericksburg, Va./Colonial Forge). Eagles selected for the All-CAC second team included senior pitcher Mike Straub (Falls Church, Va./George Mason), a two-time second-team all-star, and sophomore catcher Jono Haught (Spotsylvania, Va./Courtland).

    The University of Mary Washington baseball team dropped an 8-6 decision at Salisbury University in the opening game, and then fell, 2-0, to York in the day's final game, to get eliminated in the Capital Athletic Conference baseball tournament on Saturday. UMW closes the season with a 22-18 record.
