June 08, 2015University of Mary Washington senior TYLER CAREY (Moseley, Va.) repeated as the Virginia State College Division Player of the Year, and Christopher Newport University freshman DAVID REED (Easely, S.C.) garnered Rookie of the Year honors, as the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association released its 2014-15 College Division Men’s Tennis team on Monday. UMW head coach Todd Helbling repeated as VaSID State Coach of the Year. Carey becomes the third player to gain two state Player of the Year honors, while Helbling wins his fifth straight Coach of the Year award, and sixth overall. -
