UMW's Ben Cisse Named CAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
October 20, 2014Mary Washington freshman Ben Cisse was named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goals in both of the Eagles' CAC wins last week. Cisse broke the shutout just 21 seconds into the game in a 4-0 win over Southern Virginia on Wednesday, and followed that with an early assist and the game-winner in the 75th minute as Mary Washington topped 11th-ranked Christopher Newport on the road on Sunday night. The Eagles jumped into a tie for second place in the CAC standings with the victories.
