UMW Men's Soccer Falls at Kean, 1-0, in Saturday Action

The University of Mary Washington men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Kean University on Saturday, despite holding a 15-6 shot advantage. The Eagles fall to 2-3-1 on the season.

Kean jumped ahead at 5:59, when Sevag Kherlopian scored on an assist from Robert Barrera. From there, neither team could find a score, although the Eagles were able to put seven shots on frame.

The Eagles led in shots, 15-6, and in corner kicks, 6-2. Freshman goalkeeper Matt Spencer had one save for Mary Washington.

UMW will return to action on Wednesday afternoon when they visit North Carolina Wesleyan College at 4:00 p.m.
