The University of Mary Washington men's cross country team competed at the Christopher Newport University NCAA Regional Preview Meet on Friday evening in Newport News, Va. The Eagles finished eighth among 20 competing schools.

The Eagles were led by Patrick Murphy, who finished 36th at 26:03, and Nick Onorato, who placed 39th at 26:09. Luke Blair took 60th at 27:05, Jacob Lohr was 67th at 27:31, and Aidan Kimener was 81st at 28:41.

The Eagles will be back in action next Saturday at SHenandoah University at 9:00 a.m.
