The University of Mary Washington men's and women's cross country teams were on hand to assist at the Wilderness Elementary School's first after-school running club's meeting of the year, sharing experiences and speaking to the benefits of running.

Said UMW head coach Stan Soper, "It was a great opportunity for some of our collegiate runners to interact with young children who have shown an interest in running, and to educate them on the many benefits that running can provide them."
