The University of Mary Washington women's cross country team finished 12th at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast regional in Newport News, Va., on Saturday.

UMW was paced by junior Tara Landy, who finished in 38th place at 23:52, and Victoria Parent, who placed 62nd at 24:25.

Claudia Autore was UMW's third finisher, in 77th place at 24:47, and Liz Green took 78th at 24:50. Beth Linblad finished in 89th place at 25:13, and Erin Dandridge finished 121st at 26:08.
