The University of Mary Washington men's and women's cross country teams both ranked ninth in the South/Southeast Regional preseason poll, as released by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Tuesday.
The men are ranked ninth, with defending regional champion Lynchburg College in first, followed by Emory, Centre, and Bridgewater. The women place ninth, behind Emory, Rhodes, and Trinity (Tx.) taking the top three spots.
