UMW Cross Counry Teams Compete at Goucher Invitational

The University of Mary Washington men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Goucher College Invitational in Towson, Md. on Saturday.

The women finished fourth among eight schools with 92 points, while the men took fifth among seven schools. For the women, Caroline Cerand finished 13th at 26:49, followed by Ashley Hess in 14th at 27:04, Elizabeth Camilletti in 16th at 27:20, Mercedes Yurkovich in 22nd at 27:53, and Kelly Lee in 27th at 28:26.

The men saw James King place 22nd at 30:36, William Green place 24th at 30:49, Nate Dawes finish 26th at 31:00, Zach Fichter take 29th at 31:33, and Tate Houff place 31st at 31:38.

The eagles will be back in action next saturday at Oberlin College at 11:00 a.m.
