UMW Cross Country Teams Compete at Mount Olive Invite
The University of Mary Washington men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Mount Olive College Invitational on Friday in Mount Olive, N.C. The men finished third among eight schools, while the women took second among six teams on the 5K course.

The top finisher fior the men was sophomore Scott Plunkett, who took sixth overall with a time of 15:47. Chris Marino was seventh at 15:57. The rest of the Eagle top five was Stephen Harrison at 16:15, Sean Healy at 16:22, and Andy Sanz-Guerrero at 16:37.

For tyhe women, freshman Liz Green took fourth overall at 19:16, followed by Sarah Dawes in seventh at 19:27. Madalyn Crowell ran at 19:34, followed by Kristy Witek at 20:07, and Dawn Rainbolt atn 20:21.

The Eagles will compete in two weeks at the CAC Championships in Salisbury, Md. at 11:00 a.m.
