2002 Mary Washington College Men's Cross Country Season in Review

With a young roster that featured ten underclassmen, the Mary Washington College men's cross country team won two races during the 2002 season, and placed in the top three in two more races. The Eagles, led by all-conference performers Nate Brooks, Dustin Yudowitch, Jason Call, Todd Kronenberg, Graeme Joeck, and
Clint Enos, took first place at the Shepherd College Invitational as well as the McDaniel College Invitational.

The Eagles then competed at the Great American Festival in Charlotte, NC, for the first time ever, and finished in eighth place. After competing in the split races at Dickinson College, the Eagles finished third at the Mason-Dixon Championships, and then took fifth among 34 schools at the Gettysburg College Invitational. A second
place finish at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships preceded an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Regional Championships, which were hosted by the Eagles in Fredericksburg.
