Senior hitter Jordan Lyons gained honorable mention All-America honors, as the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its 2023 All-America teams on Tuesday. 

Lyons turned in another all-around spectacular season in 2023, registering 357 kills in 35 matches, with 503 digs, 48 total blocks, and 33 service aces. In her three-year Eagle career, Lyons scored 960 kills, 1366 digs, 120 aces and 103 total blocks.

She becomes UMW's sixth volleyball All-America since 2016, joining Emma Olsen (2016), Savannah Powers (2019, 2020), Peyton Dunow (2020), and Krista Rodgers (2022).
