The 21st ranked University of Mary Washington volleyball team wrapped up a perfect weekend in northern California with a 3-0 victory at U.C. Santa Cruz on Sunday afternoon. Game scores were 25-9, 25-18, 25-21; the Eagles improve to 16-1 on the season.

The Eagles hit an amazing .474 in the first, with 10 kills against one error as a team in the game. In all UMW hit .341 as a squad, with 40 kills against just 10 errors.

UMW was led by senior Bryanna Miller, who had 12 kills and eight digs, as well as Chloe Crosen, who scored nine kills without an error in 20 attempts. Emma Hadley and Jordan Lyons each scored seven kills, witth Hadley recording her seven without an error in nine attempts. Lauren Foley recorded 17 assists and Brenna Campbell added 14, and Hannah Livermon led with 12 digs.

The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday at Marymount University a 7:00 p.m.
