UMW Volleyball Tops Gallaudet, 3-0, on Tuesday Night

The University of Mary Washington volleyball team topped Gallaudet University in three games on Tuesday night at Ron Rosner Arena. The Eagles, receiving votes in this week's AVCA National Poll, improve to 19-5 on the season.

The Eagles took the first game, 25-13, and followed with a 25-17 win in the second. UMW finished the sweep with a 25-11 in game three.

Senior hitter Krista Rodgers led the Eagles with 13 kills with no errors in 17 attempts. Sophomore Lauren Foley scored 20 assists, and junior Brenna Campbell added 14, and junior Jordan Lyons scored eight kills and 13 digs. Campbell added five service aces.

The Eagles will be back in action on Friday evening when they host Randolph College as part of Homecoming weekend. The match starts at 6:30 p.m.
