The University of Mary Washington volleyball team defeated St. Mary's College of Md., 3-1, on Tuesday night in St. Mary's City, Md. The Eagles improve to 13-9 on the season; game scores were 25-15, 25-11, 18-25, 25-21.
The Eagles were led by senior Olivia Casey, who scored 16 kills against just three errors in 33 attempts, while sophomore Jordan Lyons added nine kills against one error in 25 attempts. Freshman Lauren Foley scored 23 assists, while Hannah Livermon scored six service aces in two games. Casey and Lyons led for the team lead in digs with nine.
The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday at home against Virginia Wesleyan University at 7 p.m.
