University of Mary Washington senior setter Emma Olson has been named as a first team selection on the 2016 All-North Region Team, as selected by the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Thursday. Freshman Savannah Powers was named to the honorable mention team as well as the regional Rookie of the Year, and Eagle head coach Matt Troy was named the regional Coach of the Year.

The Eagles will host the NCAA Tournament first three rounds this weekend, facing Cabrini University on Friday at 8 p.m.
