#12 UMW Volleyball Falls at Marymount on Wednesday Night

The 12th ranked University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision at Marymount University on Wednesday night in Arlington, Va. The Eagles slip to 25-3 overall and 7-1 in Capital Athletic Conference action. Game scores were 25-22, 20-25, 25-22, 25-23.

The Eagles were led by freshmen Peyton Dunow and Savannah Powers, each with 10 kills. Leslie Walters had seven kills and Rachel Hendricks six. Senior Emma Olson scored 27 assists and 14 digs, while junior Jenna Yost added six assists and 19 digs. Emeleigh Rettig had 18 kills and 16 digs for Marymount.

UMW will be back in action on Saturday in the regular season finale at St. Mary's College at 1:00 p.m.
