
The 18th ranked University of Mary Washington volleyball team swept a three-game decision at Washington & Lee University on Wednesday night in Lexington, Va., to improve to 18-1 on the season. Game scores were 25-14, 25-23, 25-18.
The Eagles hit an impressive .373 on the night, while limiting the hosts to .134. Freshman Savannah Powers led UMW with 13 kills against two errors in 28 attempts, while freshman Skyler Sisk recorded 11 kills against one error in 20 attempts. Sophomore Leslie Walters had 10 kills in 13 attempts without an error.
Freshman Peyton Dunow had seven kills, and senior Emma Olson added four, with 39 assists and eight digs. Junior Jenna Yost led the Eagles with 12 digs.
UMW will be back in action on Friday night when they host Wesley College at 7:00 p.m. in a Capital Athletic Conference matchup.
