#26 UMW Women's Tennis Tops #29 Southwestern (TX), 6-3, on Saturday

The 26th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team grabbed a lead in doubles and never looked back in a 6-3 victory over #29 Southwestern (Tx.) University on Saturday at the Hegmann Family Tennis Complex. The Eagles even their season record at 4-4.

Ranked number one doubles team Amanda Hagino and Hana Kimmey gained an 8-6 win at one over Synoski and Young, and Emily Beckner and Addison Felts gained an 8-2 victory at two.

In singles, Hagino defeated Young, 6-2, 6-2, and Kimmey won at two, 6-7, 6-1, 10-6. Felts defeated Lee, 6-4, 6-1, at three, and Riley Smith topped Gracia at six, 6-3, 6-1.

The Eagles will be back in action on Sunday when they host #17 Case Western Reserve at 10:00 a.m.
