The University of Mary Washington swept the major awards as the 2023 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Women's Tennis Awards and All-Conference Teams have been announced.

Player of the Year: Abby Moghtader - Mary Washington

Senior Abby Moghtader gains C2C Player of the Year for the second time, after finishing with an undefeated conference record, and a ranking of 10th in the Atlantic South region. A two-time All-American, Moghtader has achieved a 9-13 record against nationally ranked competition at one singles.

Doubles Team of the Year: Amanda Hagino & Hana Kimmey - Mary Washington

Amanda Hagino and Hana Kimmey were named C2C Doubles Team of the Year after scoring a 15-5 record against nationally ranked competition. They are ranked third in the Atlantic South Region, and undefeated in conference play.

Rookie of the Year: Rebecca Stepleman - Mary Washington

Freshman Rebecca Stepleman earns C2C Rookie of the Year honors after standing out with an 11-6 record in singles, mainly at four for the Eagles, and teaming with Abby Moghtader at one doubles for a 12-9 mark.

Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Riley Smith - Mary Washington

Riley Smith, a business administration major with a minor is English literature, captured Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors with a perfect 4.0 GPA.  The junior has posted six wins in singles and nine in doubles this season.  Smith also works as an academic counselor and organizes volunteer activities for the team.

Coaching Staff of the Year: Head Coach: Alexandra Covington - Mary Washington

Alexandra Covington claimed C2C Coach of the Year honors in her first season in Fredericksburg, having led the Eagles to the top seed in the C2C Tournament and national ranking of 33rd with eight victories.
