The 30th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to visiting #31 Johns Hopkins University on Saturday at the Hegmann Family Courts. The Eagles slip to 7-9 on the season.
The Eagles gained both of their points in singles, as Amanda Hagino won at two, 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 over Jay Xiao, and Riley Smith defeated Celina Liu, 7-5, 6-2, at six.
The Eagles will host Washington & Lee University on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
