Defending conference champions Mary Washington will lead the 2023 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Women's Tennis Preseason Poll following a survey of the C2C head coaches.
The 2023 spring season is underway concludes with the C2C Tennis Championships taking place April 28-30 at a location to be determined. Teams will be seeded based on Massey Ratings and will be finalized the Monday before the tournament.
#1 Mary Washington (15 pts, 3 First-Place)
14th ranked Mary Washington enters the spring with new head coach Alex Covington and a wealth of returning talent with the hopes of gaining its 18th consecutive conference crown. All-America senior Abby Moghtader leads a veteran group that includes All-C2C top six returnees Amanda Hagino, Hana Kimmey, and Emily Beckner. UMW loses two All-Americans to graduation in Claire Coleman and Lauren Quinn, but newcomers Alexandra Jaksec, Madison McCarty, and Rebecca Stepleman will join returnee Riley Smith for top six competition.
