Junior Abby Koghtader and senior Lauren Quinn won their first round match in the NCAA Division III Doubles Championship at the USTA Campus in Orlando, Fla., on Friday.

Moghtader and Quinn advance to the second round after defeating third seeded Caitlyn Ferreante and Sahsa Gaeth of Wesleyan (Conn.), 6-4, 7-5, in a rematch from the teams' metting in the third round of the NCAA team competition. 

In singles action earlier in the day, Moghtader fell to top seeded Sylwia Mikos of the University of Chiacgo, 6-2, 6-0, and senior Claire Coleman fell to fourth seeded Angie Zhou of Pomona Pitzer, 6-0, 6-0.

Moghtader and Quinn will advance to the quarterfinal round on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. against Grace Reirmann and Sydney Rott of Bethel.
