The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the sixth week of the 2022 spring tennis season. Mary Washington junior Abby Moghtader earned C2C Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week accolades, while Mary Washington junior Andrew Watson claimed C2C Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week honors.

WOMEN'S TENNIS: Abby Moghtader - Mary Washington

Mary Washington junior Abby Moghtader led #13 Mary Washington to a split in a pair of matches in San Antonio this weekend, winning both of her singles matches. She scored a 1-6, 6-1, 6-2 victory at one over Olivia Kimm in a 5-4 loss to #24 Trinity on Friday. Moghtader scored a 6-7, 6-2, 6-3 win at one singles and she and Quinn delivered an 8-4 win at one doubles in a big 7-2 win against #21 Washington (MO) University.

MEN'S TENNIS: Andrew Watson - Mary Washington

Mary Washington junior Andrew Watson led the #22 Eagles this weekend in San Antonio, as the Eagles defeated #28 Kalamazoo, 8-1, and fell to #5 Trinity, 6-3. He scored a doubles win with Moses Hutchison at one doubles over Kalamazoo on Friday over Ian Yi and Peter Fitzgerald, 8-7 (7-2), and then topped Fitzgerald in singles at three, 6-2, 7-6 (2). He then scored two points for the Eagles against Trinity, teaming with Hutchison for an 8-5 win at one, and defeated 40th ranked Christian Settles at three singles, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.
