The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the fourth week of the 2022 spring tennis season. Mary Washington senior Lauren Quinn earned C2C Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week accolades, while Mary Washington sophomore Rishi Charan Shankar claimed C2C Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week honors.

WOMEN'S TENNIS: Lauren Quinn - Mary Washington

Mary Washington senior Lauren Quinn helped the #12 Eagles to a 9-0 victory over Averett University on Sunday. At one doubles, she teamed with fellow All-American Abby Moghtader for an 8-4 win at one doubles, and followed with a 6-1, 6-3 win at three singles over Inka Zeilstra. Quinn has won three straight matches in singles and has teamed with Moghtader to start 4-1 at one doubles.

MEN'S TENNIS: Rishi Charan Shankar - Mary Washington 

Mary Washington sophomore Rishi Charan Shankar led the #20 Eagles to a pair of wins on Sunday, over Washington College and Averett University. In the win over Washington, Charan Shankar picked up a 6-2, 7-6 (4) victory at one singles over Karl Hoegstadt, and also teamed with Nick Spera to gain an 8-7 (3) win at one doubles over Hoegstadt and Andrew Smith. Later in the day, he gained a singles win at two over Stan Martherus of Averett, 7-6, 6-4, and teamed with Spera for a win at two doubles, 8-1, over Jorge Figueroa/Shori Nishizoe.
