#27 UMW Women's Tennis Blanks Frostburg to Improve to 7-0

The 27th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team won all three doubles matches and all six singles flights in topping Frostburg State University, 9-0, on Friday evening in Fredericksburg. The Eagles improve to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in Capital Athletic Conference action.

In doubles, Cassie Bowman and Alex Ritter won 8-1 at one, Mackenzie Smith and Paige Weinberg won at two, 8-1, and Chrissy Gaul and Alina Suyama won at three, 8-2.

In singles, the Eagles saw wins from Lindsay Raulston at one, Shelby Harris at two, Smith at three, Berri Flood at four, Anna Richman at five, and Ashley Price at six.

Mary Washington will return to action on Saturday when they host Elizabethtown College at noon.
