Brooks Finishes Seventh in 200 IM at NCAAs Day One

Mary Washington's Kinsey Brooks claimed seventh place in the 200 IM at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Greensboro, N.C. on Wednesday night. Brooks finished with a time of 2:02.60 after entering with a seed time of 2:03.55.

Brooks, who's competed at the NCAAs for the previous two years, entered the final 200 IM as the No. 6 seed after racing her way into the Top 8 on Wednesday morning.

Bridget Zagrobelny finished 50th in the prelims on Wednesday morning in the 200 IM with a final time of 2:10.15.

In the 200 medley relay, Phoebe Root, Brooks, Bri Wilson, and Selby Heyman finished 23rd in the country with a final time of 1:45.44

On the team leader board, the Eagles currently sit in 18th with 12 total points.

The relay is back in action on Thursday with the 200 freestyle relay and 400-yard medley relay on the schedule. Pre-lims begin at 10 a.m., while the finals take place at 6 p.m.
