UMW Men's and Women's Swim Teams Named to CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams for Fall 2019

Colorado Springs, CO - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected a record 762 programs from 480 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2019 semester.

The University of Mary Washington men's and women's teams were named to the list. The men carried a 3.00 GPA, while the women boasted a 3.38 GPA.

Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2019 grade point averages and represent 17,685 student-athletes.  The Swarthmore College Men led with a GPA of 3.73 while Saint Catherine University (MN) topped all women's programs with a 3.77.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
