UMW Women's Swimming Drops Meet to Gettysburg, 141-121, on Saturday

The University of Mary Washington women's swimming team dropped their meet to Gettysburg College, 141-121, on Saturday afternoon in Fredericksburg, VA. 

Julia Geskey took the first win for the Eagles in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:58.57. Geskey also claimed first in the 500 yard freestyle as she won convincingly with a time of 5:17.92. Carley Vaughn won the 100 yard backstroke as she came in at 1:00.38.

Claudia Keller placed firt in the 200 yard backstroke as she timed in at 2:10.67, beating the opposition by four seconds. Erin Whitesell won the 100 yard butterfly as she came in at 1:00.12. Grace Nicolai was the last winner of the day for UMW as she won the 400 yard IM.

The Eagles will host Southern Virginia on Saturday at 12 p.m. as part of senior day.
