Carley Vaughn Named CAC Women's Swimmer of the Week

Vaughn won a pair of races as Mary Washington topped Frostburg State and Hollins on Friday. She captured the 50 freestyle at 25.56, and came back to win the 100 individual medley at 1:02.79. Vaughn's 100 IM time ranks seventh in Division III so far this season.

Demonte won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:01.26, breaking a school record that has been held by former National Champion Laura Schlegel since 1984 ... FSU defeated Hollins and got beat by Mary Washington.

Anna LaPoint | St. Mary's | So.
In a dual meet vs. Marymount, LaPoint finished first in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:20.77, which was 17 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. She also took first in the 200 yard IM at 2:18.14 and the 500 freestyle at 5:31.46.

Allen won the 100-yard breaststroke against York with a time of 1:16.71 and was a part of the relay team that captured first place in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Justine Wantz | York | Jr.
Wantz picked up a pair of wins in Saturday's CAC victory over Salisbury. Wantz won the 50 freestyle in a time of 25.23 and then captured the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:01.10. Wantz also swam leadoff in the 400 medley relay as York won the race with a time of 4:13.16. Wantz now leads the squad with four individual wins for the year.
