UMW Women's Soccer's Maci Landel Named to USC All-Region Team

Freshman Maci Landel was named to the United Soccer Coaches Division III All-Region VI Third Team on Tuesday afternoon, per a release.

As a first-year starter, Landel fit right in with the Eagles as she led the women's soccer teams in goals (4), assists (3) and points (11). The Coast-to-Coast Conference named Landel a first-teamer on Nov. 1.

A Stafford, Va. native, Landel started in all 18 games for UMW as she netted her first two goals of her career in a 6-0 rout over N.C. Wesleyan on Sept. 10. Landel later went on to score against Lynchburg on Sept. 25 and Kenyon on Sept. 30.
