
The University of Mary Washington women's soccer team saw five players named to the 2023 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference all-conference team. Freshmen Maci Landel and Amanda Dolan were named to the first team, and junior Jazzy Imanverdi, junior Eliza Franklin, and sophomore Natalie Anderson were named to the second team.
Landel gains first team honors after leading the Eagles with four goals and three assists in the regular season. She provided the game winner against North Carolina Wesleyan, a game in which she scored a pair of goals.
Dolan gains first team honors after starting every game as a defender for a UMW defense that has recorded seven shutouts.
Imanverdi gains all-conference honors for the first time, having scored three goals in the regular season. She netted a pair of goals against N.C. Wesleyan, and also scored in a 2-0 win over St. Mary's. Franklin gains all-conference honors at midfield after scoring three goals, all of which were game winners, against Marymount, Hood, and St. Mary's. Anderson gains all-conference honors after starting 13 contests for the Eagles, as a key member of a unit that has allowed one goal or less in nine contests.
The Eagles will open play in the C2C Tournament on Thursday, with a home contest against Pratt Institute at 2 p.m.
