UMW Women's Soccer Falls at #6 Johns Hopkins, 4-0, on Sunday

The sixth ranked Johns Hopkins University women's soccer team jumped out to a 3-0 halftime advantage en route to a 4-0 victory over the University of Mary Washington on Sunday in the final game of the Hopkins Invitational. The Eagles slip to 0-2 on the season.

The Blue Jays outshot the Eagles, 13-4, as well as in corner kicks, 6-3. Eagle goalkeeper Allison Nork (Harrisburg, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) garnered a pair of saves in 72 minutes, with freshman Morgan Hicok (Burke, Va./Robinson) adding 18 clean minutes of relief. 

Mary Washington will return to action on Wednesday when they host Randolph-Macon College at 4:00 p.m.
