The 2019 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Women's Soccer Awards have been revealed with Christopher Newport junior Riley Cook being named CAC Offensive Player of the Year, while her CNU teammate senior Keiley McCarthy claimed CAC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Salisbury's Kasey Lamb garnered CAC Rookie of the Year accolades along with CNU senior Carson Pokorny who collected CAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year recognition.
The University of Mary Washington, competing for the conference crown on Saturday, saw six players named, all to the second team. Forwards Abby Zimmerman, Brooke Bauman, and Amanda Krest were feted, as well as midfielder Brielle Mitchell and defenders Corinne Carson and Olivia Severin.
