Blair, Koebke, Sarazin, Schneider, Tripp Named to All-C2C Women's Lacrosse Team

The University of Mary Washington women's lacrosse team saw five players selected to the 2023 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference All-Conference Team, announced on Thursday. Attackers Katie Blair and Maya Koebke, midfielder Kayla Sarazin, defender Maria Schneider, and goalie Cailyn Tripp were honored.

Blair scored 44 goals and added 10 assists this season, for 54 points. She scored at least four goals five times, including six in a win over Washington College. This is her third straight all-conference selection.

Koebke led the Eagles in scoring, with 45 goals and 19 assists for 64 points. She scored at least four goals six times, including a career-high nine point day (four goals, five assists) in a win over Meredith College.

Sarazin was third on the team with 51 points (28 goals, team-high 23 assists), and broke the UMW season record for draw controls, with 99, including 12 in a win over Meredith.

Schneider led the defense, starting all 18 games and recording 22 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers against some of the top attackers in the region.

Tripp recorded 201 saves on the season, with a 52.5 save percentage and a 10.87 goals-against average.
