University of Mary Washington junior lacrosse player Kirsten Littlefield has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large Team, which encompasses a number of fall and spring sports.
Littlefield, the UMW Female Scholar Athlete of the Year, has led the Eagles' women's lacrosse team to the NCAA Tournament, as UMW will face Meredith University on Saturday in first round action. A second team IWLCA All-American a season ago, Littlefield is on pace to surpass her statistical numbers from a year ago as one of the top transition defenders in the nation.
