UMW senior attacker Jenna Petrucelli has been named as a first team All-American by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association, marking the fourth straight year an Eagle has gained first team All-America honors.
Petrucelli, who ranks tied for eighth in the nation with 74 goals on the season, joins Catherine Kennedy (2011 and 2012) and Katie Matropaolo (2013) as the latest in a line of first team selections for the Eagles. She has already been named first team all-region and first team all-conference, as well as the CAC Player of the Year.
The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American banquet on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King Prussia, Pa.
