UMW's Atmar Named as Womenslacrosse.com's National Defender of the Week

University of Mary Washington sophomore Jenny Atmar (Houston, Texas, Bellaire) was named the womenslacrosse.com National Defender of the Week for the week of March 8. Atmar helped the Eagles to a pair of wins over ranked teams, causing eight turnovers and picking up seven ground balls for UMW. She also added 10 draw controls in the two victories.
