The University of Mary Washington women's basketball team was chosen second in the 2023-24 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Eagles gained 31 points, including one first-place vote.

Mary Washington will look to build on last year's success, which led to advancement to the regional semifinals of the NCAA Tournament. Heading the list of returnees is honorable mention All-American Jordan Carpenter (15.0 PPG, 8.5 RPG), and the Eagles also welcome back starters Ashley Martin (7.5 PPG), Keagan Schwab (10.5 PPG), and Megan Baxter (4.3 PPG, 2.6 APG). The Eagles welcome back 10 players from last year's 24-7 squad.
