Junior women's basketball forward Jordan Carpenter has been named as the Virginia Lottery Female Athlete of the Month for February.

Carpenter, who ranks seven in the nation in field goal percentage, led Mary Washington to the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference championship game, and then to the NCAA Tournament, where the Eagles are still alive in the sectional semifinals. She averaged 17.3 points and 9.9 rebounds per game, including a career-high 30 in the C2C Championship against #1 ranked Christopher Newport.

Carpenter averages 15.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game in 26.5 minutes of action per contest.
