The Eagle advantage stayed near double digits for much of the second quarter, until a late charge by Salisbury trimmed the halftime margin to 23-20.

Undaunted, the Eagles regained the momentum to start the third with a 9-3 run. The Sea Gulls battled back with a run to pull to within four, but baskets from Sydney Sherman and Megan Baxter closed the third, and the Eagles led by eight after 30 minutes.

In the fourth, Carpenter and Martin opened the scoring, and a three from Adeline Riner with 5:14 left extended the Eagle lead to 47-34, the Eagles held the Sea Gulls scoreless the rest of the way for a 51-34 victory.

Carpenter made 5-12 shots from the floor and 4-6 free throws, and also added three steals in addition to her 14 rebounds. Martin shot 4-12 from the field, and added three steals as well.
