The University of Mary, Washington men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed at the liberty University invitational on Saturday.

for the women, sophomore Sophia Redmond finished in 10th place in the 60 meters at 8.06 seconds, and 21st place in the 200 meters with a time of 26.40 seconds.

The men were led by Jacinto Jones II, who took ninth in the 60 m prelims at 7.07 seconds and also took 11th in the 200 m at 22.05 seconds, which smashed a 35-year old school record.

 Both teams will return to action on February 16 and 17 at the Coast to Coast athletic conference championships in Newport News, Virginia.
