University of Mary Washington senior Darius Reed (Williamsburg, Va.) has been named as an All-Academic Athlete by the United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association.

To be named, nominees must post a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale through the most recently completed grading period, and have finished the outdoor season among the top 50 individuals as listed on the descending order lists on TFRRS. 

Reed was the 2022 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Male Track Athlete of the Championship, finishing first in the 100 meters with a meet record time of 10.55. He also finished first at the conference meet in the 200 meters, at 21.64. He ranked in the top 50 in the 100 meters.
