The University of Mary Washington men's and women's outdoor track and field teams sent competitiors to the Virginia Commonwealth University Invitational on Sunday in Richmond.

On the women's side, Haileigh Byrd finished second in the long jump with a leap of 5.14 meters, and fifth in the triple jump, at 10.93 meters. Camy Delean was fifth in the 800 meters at 2:28.04, and Teresa Guzman was seventh at 2:31.54.

For the men, Rajai Walton finished third in the long jump at 6.81 meters, and third in the triple jump at 14.15 meters. Ethan Young was ninth in the 100 meter hurdle prelims at 15.25, and Darius Reed was second in the 100 meters at 10.61 seconds and third in the 200 meters, at 22.21 seconds. Brandaon Baumgartner took third in the 800 meters at 2:03.68, and Justin Libman competed in the 5,000 meters.
