UMW Outdoor Track & Field Competes at Goucher Invitational

The University of Mary Washington outdoor track and field teams competed at the Goucher College Invitational on Saturday in Towson, Md.

On the women's side, junior Erin Andrewlevich finished first in the 100 meters at 12.56 seconds, as well as the 200 meters at 26.35. The women's 4x100 meter relay of Brianna Lightfoot, Andrewlevich, Quintasia Horsley, and Angie Cherikos finished first at 50.66, and Victoria Chanthyasak-White took first in the high jump at 1.47 meters. Jean Woodrum finished first in the discus at 37.35 meters, and second in the hammer throw at 41.62 meters. Jackie Smith was second in the javelin at 34.21 meters.

Rajai Walton was third in the 400 meters at 51.44 and second in the triple jump at 12.77 meters, and Bryce McAlpine was third in the 400 meter hurdles at 1:00.73. David Danek was first in the high jump at 1.97 meters and Ripken Smith won the discus at 42.96 meters and the hammer throw at 45.86 meters and took second in the shot put at 13.07 meters.Robert Robertson was second in the hammer at 40.07 meters.
