Jeff Gibson Takes 13th in 10K at NCAA Track Championships; Rajai Walton Places 17th in Long Jump

The University of Mary Washington men's track and field team was represented by Jeff Gibson and Rajai Walton at the 2018 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships in LaCrosse, Wisc., on Thursday.

Gibson competed in the 10,000 meters, and finished 13th overall with a time of 31:57.60. Walton placed 17th in the long jump with a leap of 23 feet, 0.5 inches.

The championships will continue on Friday with Erin Andrewlevich in the 400 meter prelims, and Daniel Forjan in the shot put.
