Senior Nick Judy set a neww school outdoor record in the pole vault to highlight the University of Mary Washington track and field's performance at the Swarthmore College Qualifier on Monday night. Glenn Taylor won the 100 meters as well.

Judy leapt 15 feet, seven inches for his new record. Taylor finished first in the 100 meters with a time of 10.92 seconds.

For the women, Claire Harrington finished second in the pole vault with a leap of 11 feet, two inches. Taylor Cockerille finoished second in the shot put at 31 feet, eight inches, and Sheree Turner was third in the discus at 130 feet, 10.25 inches. Cockerille finished fourth.

The teams will send representatives to the Salisbury University qualifier on Friday evening.
