The University of Mary Washington track and field teams competed at the College of William and Mary on Friday, with several top results.
In the 10,000 meters, Quincy Schmidt ran a personal-best time of 32:53. In the men's 5K, senior Scott Plunkett ran the third fastest time in school history, crossing the line at 14:55.5. Also for the men, Matt Shaughnessy ran the 800 meters at 1:55.32.
For the women, Brooke Thompson ran the 100 hurdles in 15.86, and in the 400 hurdles, Michelle Sutherland ran to a time of 1:66.99.
